Ambition

My theme is Ambition. I chose Efrain's Secret because its about a boy who is about my age who is trying to get into an ivy league college. Hes a poor kid but hes very ambitious to get to his goals so he starts to break the laws to make money. Im very anxious to read this book!

Hero

I think a hero can be anyone who does something outstanding or courageous. In my life my big brother is the biggest hero to me. He has seen and done so many crazy things. First he joined the army at eighteen. at nineteen years old he went over seas to fight in Afghanistan. After only one month over there we received a phone call one morning saying that my brother had been injured in a roadside bomb. The people said he wasn't in danger of dying but he was injured. MY brother was sent to a hospital in Germany and as soon as he was well, he went back to Afghanistan instead of going home. Ten months later when my brother returned he was rewarded a purple heart for his braveness. I look up to my brother more than anybody else and he is a major hero to me.
